Plant Derived Nutrients
Nutrients PLUS relies on a variety of plant derived sources such as corn and soy products in its organic/traditional blends to achieve unique, optimal, and environmentally friendly results. Corn meal is an integral ingredient for several of our Clarus products. The high level of nitrogen (10 percent) in corn gluten supports the healthy growth of grass.
Besides valuable slow-release nutrients, plants have biologically active substances such as humic acids, vitamins, amino acids and natural plant growth regulators- all well documented to have favorable physiological effects on plant growth. In research, the addition of auxin in turf grass applications demonstrated significantly improved drought tolerance. Encouraged by these results, Nutrients PLUS developed Aux-n-ite as a brand new innovative offering in the Clarus 100 product line. Using a patented oilseed extraction process that fixes a high concentration of auxin, Nutrients PLUS introduced the first 100% natural fertilizer boosted with these valuable ingredients.
