Nutrients PLUS Announces Marketing Agreement With Nature Pure™

  • New relationship highlights company's aggressive market strategy

  • Key goal to offer Professional Lawn Care Industry proven organic products

Virginia Beach, Va. - Nutrients PLUS, an organic and natural based fertilizer company, and Nature Pure™ joined in an agreement that endorses Nutrients PLUS to operate as Nature Pure's exclusive marketing agent in the Turf & Ornamental Industry as of August 2003.

According to Kevin Dark, Nutrients PLUS president, the agreement with Nature Pure™ accelerates Nutrients PLUS' entry into the Green Industry, especially the Professional Lawn & Landscape markets.

"Our strong sales of 100% natural Nature Pure fertilizer to the Lawn Care Industry demonstrate the demand for organic based programs," Dark says. "We have felt this need has existed for some time, but, organic products were unsuccessfully positioned to service this highly specialized and price competitive market."

Nutrients PLUS LLC develops and distributes natural and organic based granular fertilizers and sells nationwide to various specialty fertilizer markets. The company's focus is to sell directly to medium and large sized lawn care operations. Production currently is at two locations with plans to add at least two more locations by the end of the third quarter, 2003 season. In addition to Dark, Greg Gill, CFO, of Nutrients PLUS, was instrumental in helping shape the agreement with Nature Pure. Gill has held executive positions with such notable fertilizer companies as Harmony Products, Inc., Nitrex and the Royster Fertilizer Company.

"Nature Pure™ composted poultry manure is processed at a facility 15 years ahead of its time" said Kurt Lausecker, president of Nature Pure'. "We have invested substantially in our methods to preserve qualities of organic matter that are lost in traditional plants that use high temperature dryers and extrusion equipment but, we also make sure the product is safe and easy to apply."
